Encourage your kids to write more, it’s proven to reduce stress. When they write their personality shines through their penmanship. I love to share with kiddos in our cursive writing workshops, our handwriting is like our fingerprint. No one else writes the same. It’s another quality that makes us special and unique from one another. I’m reading about many people writing pandemic journals. When we write out our feelings, it can help lift some of the heaviness off our hearts and minds. What’s even more special is when your child wants to share with you what they wrote. It gives you a glimpse into their head and understand something they are feeling but might be hard for them to articulate out loud.
